This tour is for you if you’re visiting the city for a short time and want to combine exercise, sightseeing, and learning about the city - or if you’re a local runner and want to explore the hidden history on your doorstep!

We’ll take in the major locations - George Square, Glasgow Cathedral, the Necropolis and Glasgow Green - but also ‘off-the-beaten-track’ sights and local knowledge that you won’t find in a tour book: the architecture and statues, the amazing street art, and how Glasgow came to be the way it is.
Arrive ready to run, but don’t worry about the pace or the distance. It isn’t a race! It’s a casual pace to suit the group, with plenty stops to chat about what we’re running past and for photos. If you can run 5k in one go, you’ll be able to handle the tour.
